I do not support repairing or replacing Oaklawn with a school that only has 2 classes per grade. Oshkosh already has too many small schools and with constant budget cuts it makes no sense to put millions into a school that will not have efficient staffing. I do support building a new school with 4 sections per grade on the North side of Oshkosh, where exactly it is located I don't care. Also I still haven't heard plan "B" if a referendum fails - I won't vote for any referendum with out knowing what that plan "B" is.

WOW!!! ya'll had some bad experience with China 1 i see...I always order food from them and never had any problem with it. My food is always hot and fresh it delivers on time. In my opinion, i think China 1 is one of the best chinese restaurant in oshkosh. Jade Dragon is good , but theyre cheap they dont give you enough meat in your meals. So many bad comments on here.

I've spoken on the subject of Councilor Cummings before. He continues to prove that he is neither present-day nor forward thinking in his leadership and vision for this city. Perhaps well intentioned, but Mr. Cummings is a dinosaur, entrenched in the insular old establishment.

He is either uninformed OR close minded in current economic urban development and growth trends.

Either way, it is not the type of representation this city requires to keep us current and moving forward.

I've observed great increases in ridership with each passing year. It's time to bring this city up to date and implement the pedestrian and bike plan.

$175,000 in improvements and safety features is money well spent and will be a great boon to this city, for pedestrians and bicyclists alike.

3 feet per chicken in size and 7 foot minimum for 4 chickens? Did you know chickens come in different sizes and that 3 bantam chickens can be kept in the same space needed for a standard size chicken? Too many restrictions in your ordinance, a lot of un-needed and un-wanted bureaucracy. KISS should be the standard in writing ordinances, otherwise enforcement becomes a hagmire of expense and hassle for the city. No roosters and sanitary, no public nuisance is more than adequate for anyone!

Also, if anyone does the economics of keeping chickens purely for egg-laying purposes only, and not allowing for the slaughter of the chickens after their production has stopped, there isn't an economic advantage to keeping chickens for eggs, and the $10 annual fee puts it into an economic loss. Plus an annual fee is redundant, how many times does someone need a "handout"? Times are tough for people, and the motivation for keeping backyard chickens is about food access, security and sustainability. Set backs and fees only serve to eliminate the practicality of keeping chickens, leaving it the exclusive "right" to people who really don't need it to begin with.

Why the need for a 25 ft set back? Is that to exclude people from having chickens? The "kept sanitary and not be a public nuisance" would surely cover any issues a set back does, without excluding people due to their lot size. There isn't a set back for dogs or cats, and since chickens are less smelly, noisy and a nuisance than either cats or dogs, there shouldn't be a set back required for chickens either. Is it an attempt to make chicken keeping available only to the "elite"?
